How beach volleyball is helping gynaecological cancer research

What do beach volleyball and gynaecological cancer research have in common? Well, not a lot until about six years ago. That’s when the Cherish Women’s Cancer Foundation launched Brisbane’s best beach volleyball competition – The Battle! Back for another year in 2017, The Battle raises awareness and funds for research into gynaecological cancer.

The 2017 Battle is now open for team registrations. This fun event is for people of all ages. It requires no volleyball experience (just enthusiasm) and takes place from 5.00pm on Friday 17 March 2017. To get involved all you need to do is register a team and commit to raising a minimum of $750 per team. All funds raised support Cherish’s selected research partner – QCGC Research.

We invite you to gather your friends, family and colleagues and join in the fun by registering a team today. For more details visit Cherish’s website or contact Cherish via info@cherish.org.au
