How to join a meeting

To participate in a webinar, the meeting organiser will provide:

• a zoom link  eg. https://uqz.zoom.us/...
• a meeting ID eg. 123 456 789 (format xxx xxx xxx)
• a selection of phone numbers depending on your location for those wanting to dial in and listen only as opposed to watch the video on a device

To join from a PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone or Android device using the URL Zoom link:

    Cut the zoom link URL provided and paste into the address bar of your browser.

• If you’ve already installed Zoom on your device, the meeting window will open and you will be connected.
• If you haven’t already installed Zoom, you’ll be directed to the Zoom website to download and install it on your system. The link will then be able to open in your Zoom program.

To join PC or Mac with Meeting ID

You can join the meeting from your Zoom app with the meeting ID: xxx xxx xxx

1. Open Zoom and select ‘Join’ from the home screen.
2. Enter the Meeting ID xxx xxx xxx in the ‘Meeting ID or Personal Link Name’ field, and select ‘Join’ again.
3. The meeting window will open and you will be connected.

Android with Meeting ID

You can join the meeting from your Zoom app with the meeting ID: xxx xxx xxx

1. Select ‘Join’ from the menu.
2. Enter the Meeting ID in the ‘Meeting ID’ field.
3. Select ‘Join Meeting’.
4. The meeting window will open and you will be connected.

iPhone with Meeting ID

You can join the meeting from your Zoom app with the meeting ID: xxx xxx xxx

1. Select ‘Join’ from the menu.
2. Enter the Meeting ID in the ‘Meeting ID’ field.
3. Select ‘Join Meeting’.
4. The meeting window will open and you will be connected.

Telephone with Meeting ID

1. Dial one of the provided phone numbers | Australia: +61 8 xxxx xxxx  or +61 2 xxxx xxxx  or +61 3 xxxx xxxx
2. Enter the Meeting ID xxx xxx xxx via the phone’s keypad when prompted.
3. You will now be connected to an audio Zoom meeting.
