PhD - Improving Quality of Survival for Women with Gynaecological Cancer

Clinical Research MonitorKey responsibilities will include conducting monitoring activities in accordance with established procedures and using approved checklists and templates to document and report findings. The role will involve preparing written monitoring reports and communicating any issues to the appropriate parties, as well as reviewing study records, case report forms, and other documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness. It will also require verifying reported data against source documents, promptly escalating any serious deficiencies, and maintaining accurate records of all correspondence, reports, queries and related documentation.

Clinical Trial ManagerKey responsibilities of this role include leading trial governance and compliance by preparing HREC and research governance submissions,  ensuring all studies adhere to protocols, SOPs, ICH/GCP and institutional requirements; overseeing clinical trial operations such as patient recruitment, data and biospecimen collection, investigational product accountability, and maintenance of study‑specific management systems; coordinating stakeholders and external partners including investigators, CROs, vendors and project teams through meetings, training and progress reporting on site activation, enrolment, safety and monitoring; building strong clinical partnerships by engaging prospective surgeons and clinical sites to present trial opportunities and secure participation; supervising trial staff and supporting their development; and contributing to data quality through data review, query resolution, reporting, and occasional interstate or international site visits.

Program ManagerThe role provides high‑level program management support for the CRE by ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, timelines and funding requirements; coordinating and monitoring multidisciplinary research projects across partner institutions; supporting the Chief Investigator and leadership team with priority setting, work planning and performance tracking; leading the preparation of progress reports, milestones and governance documentation; coordinating stakeholder, partner, client and industry engagement activities; developing an understanding of existing partnerships and research capabilities to identify opportunities for new collaborations; and managing project committees. It also involves building strong collaborative relationships with researchers, clinicians, consumers, biostatisticians and external stakeholders, facilitating best‑practice consumer and community involvement in research, and acting as the key liaison between the CRE leadership team, partner institutes, funding bodies and government agencies.  Contact Danielle Mills, Operations to discuss the role further.
