For all the Petula Clark fans out there, our friends at Twelfth Night Theatre have given us dates for The Petula Clark Story starring Donna Lee.  If you're free on Saturday 22 October 2016 we'd love to see you at Twelfth Night Theatre for the 2pm or the 7.30pm show.

Proceeds from the performance will be donated to QCGC Research to fund trials to develop kinder and better treatments for women with gynaecological cancer.

Petula Clark was a star at the age of 11. She starred in te music halls and on BBC redio singing for the troops during WWII.  She was a child star in a series of British films from the end of WWII through to the early 1950s and by 1954 was having hit records.  After a move to France in 1960, having fallen for a Frenchman, she had hit records all over Europe, and by 1966 with such hits as "Downtow" and "my Love" having topped the American charts, becase a truly international star.
