Dr Piksi Singh is a certified Gynaecological Oncologist, specialising in management of all known and suspected cancers of the female genital tract, colposcopy and pre-invasive conditions of cervix, vagina and vulva. She has keen interest in managing women with hereditary familial gynaecological cancers, gestational trophoblastic disease (GTD) and vulval reconstructive surgeries. She is trained to perform complex minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic and robotic procedures.

Originally from India, Piksi obtained her postgraduate Obstetric and Gynaecological qualifications in 1994, working as a consultant in leading teaching institutions in New Delhi before moving to Australia in 2003. She underwent further sub specialty training in the field of Gynaecological Oncology in Adelaide, Newcastle and Brisbane, attaining her CGO in 2008. She has also acquired additional surgical training in re-secting upper abdominal disease in advanced gynaecological malignancies and robotic surgery in the United States. Piksi is committed to clinical and translational research and has authored multiple papers in peer reviewed international journals.
