What an incredible gathering for the 2025 Gynaecological Cancer Patient Symposium! Thank you to our speakers, consumer partners, patients, families, and supporters who connected with us both at the venue and through livestream.
Giving day is a 24-hour online fundraising movement where we will be asking alumni and the community to make a gift towards a cause they are passionate about. This year, UQ Giving Day will be taking place on Wednesday 15 October 2025.

2023 Custom Card _2
In September 2023, our inspirational and dedicated team of 10 trekkers took on the ultimate challenge. After months of preparation, training, breaking in new boots, vaccinations, visas, and fundraising, they met in Moshi, Tanzania to prepare for their adventure.Together, and with their generous supporters, they raised over $150,000 – all of which will be dedicated to funding vital, life-changing clinical trials and medical research for gynaecological cancer.
2022 Events
In July 2022, fourteen dedicated champions from across Australia found their sense of adventure and purpose and took on our Cherish Challenge Kimberley 2022. They took on a guided, pack-free and wilderness walking experience, discovering remote regions and magnificent scenery of the Kimberley region, raising funds for research and awareness of gynaecological cancer.
2021 Events
In 2021, 34 people from across Australia grabbed their sense of adventure and purpose and committed to the Cherish Challenge Larapinta Trail, raising funds for research and awareness about gynaecological cancer. The Cherish team raised $220,000 to help fund research that gives hope to thousands of women and girls with gynaecological cancer in Australia.

2016 Events
Do you remember these songs? 'Downtown', 'I Know a Place', 'Love this is my song', 'Colour My World' and many more! These hit songs by Petula Clark were performed by Donna Lee and brought down the roof at Twelfth Night Theatre! Proceeds from these shows will be donated to QCGC Research.
An annual event organised by the QCGC Research to provide information on progress and results coming from our research trials and practical advice/information useful for all women during and post gynaecological cancer treatment.
What a wonderful night at the Twelfth Night Theatre for QCGC Research's fundraising performance of Menopause The Musical. More than 425 friends gathered at the theatre and laughed at the hilarious look at menopause through the eyes of four women.
